Tiger Cleaning CEO Alex Williams has enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime experience representing his company on the pitch at Paris Saint-Germain’s Parc des Princes alongside football legends Claude Makélélé and Jay-Jay Okocha. Alex Williams, CEO of award-winning Tiger Cleaning, swapped the office for one of the most famous football stadiums in the world after being given the opportunity to take part in The Dream Tournament at Paris Saint-Germain.
The experience saw Alex pull on his football boots and play at the Parc des Princes, sharing the occasion with former Real Madrid and Chelsea star Claude Makélélé and former Paris Saint-Germain and Nigeria icon Jay-Jay Okocha.
For Alex, the opportunity was made even more special by being able to represent Tiger Cleaning, the business he has helped build into an award-winning cleaning company.
Playing alongside football legends
Claude Makélélé is regarded as one of the outstanding midfielders of his generation and enjoyed a hugely successful career at the highest level of European football.
During his time at Real Madrid, Makélélé won the UEFA Champions League, two La Liga titles, the UEFA Super Cup and Intercontinental Cup.
He later became a key member of José Mourinho’s dominant Chelsea side, winning back-to-back Premier League titles, as well as the FA Cup and two League Cups.
His influence on the game was so significant that the defensive midfield position he mastered became widely known as “the Makélélé role.”
Alex also had the opportunity to share the experience with Jay-Jay Okocha, widely regarded as one of Nigeria and Africa’s greatest and most entertaining footballers.
Okocha played for Paris Saint-Germain between 1998 and 2002 and later became a Premier League favourite with Bolton Wanderers.
At international level, he was part of the Nigeria team that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 1994 and the country’s famous Olympic football gold medal at Atlanta 1996.
A once-in-a-lifetime experience
The opportunity to play at the Parc des Princes has become even more special following Paris Saint-Germain’s extraordinary recent success.
PSG won their first UEFA Champions League in 2025 before retaining the trophy in 2026, making them back-to-back European champions.
Alex said: “Playing at Paris Saint-Germain was genuinely a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
“Walking out at the Parc des Princes and then looking around and seeing players like Claude Makélélé and Jay-Jay Okocha alongside you was quite surreal.
“These are players who competed and won at the very highest level of football, so to be able to share a pitch and an experience with them is something I’ll never forget.
“What made me particularly proud was being there representing Tiger Cleaning. We’ve worked incredibly hard to build the company and its reputation, and being able to take the Tiger Cleaning name with me to an occasion like this was very special.”
A proud moment for Tiger Cleaning
The experience comes during another successful period for Tiger Cleaning, which provides commercial and residential cleaning services and has continued to gain recognition within the cleaning industry.
The company was named Best Commercial Cleaning Company 2024 – South East of England, has been recognised as a West London Business Awards finalist, and most recently celebrated a double honour at the UK Enterprise Awards 2026.
Tiger Cleaning also holds professional accreditations including ISO 9001, Constructionline Gold and Cyber Essentials.
For Alex, there were clear similarities between the teamwork required on a football pitch and the principles behind growing a successful company.
He added: “You don’t build a successful football team around one person, and you don’t build a successful business around one person either.
“Everything Tiger Cleaning has achieved comes down to having good people around us, maintaining high standards and everybody doing their part for the team.
“To go from building Tiger Cleaning to wearing a football shirt and playing on the pitch at Paris Saint-Germain is something I certainly wouldn’t have imagined when our journey began.
“I’m incredibly proud of what the Tiger Cleaning team has achieved and the reputation we’ve built. Experiences like this make you appreciate how far you’ve come, but they also make you want to achieve even more.”
The Parc des Princes has been home to some of the greatest players in world football, and today it is home to the back-to-back champions of Europe.
For Alex, being able to step onto that same pitch alongside legends of the game while representing Tiger Cleaning created a memory that will last a lifetime — and another proud chapter in the company’s continuing story.
